Scavenger hunts are a great way for kids to explore nature.  Take this simple list along on a hike or a camping trip to keep kids entertained while also learning about the great outdoors.  Because you never know what you'll find, the list can be used again and again.

We like to use this list with an egg carton because it creates an organized collection that is lightweight and has a built-in cover.  It also means that collectables are small and portable!

After the scavenger hunt, return the items to nature or add them to a fairy garden.
